Great Days out with Chiltern Railways

12TH Anniversary of ‘Kids week in the West End’ special offers available

If your children are already pestering you, wanting you to fill their school holidays with fun and entertainment, then Chiltern Railways has the perfect cost effective solution.

A Chiltern Railways Family Railcard costs just £26 and lasts for one whole year! This entitles you to 1/3 off adult fares and 60% off kids’ fares, not only will this save you money, but it will do so for a whole year – that’s a lot of family days out for a lot less money! Having one of these tickets for your family would also help you to travel to and enjoy….Kids Week 2009 which is running from the 14-28th of August!

Children between the ages of 5-16 go free during Kids Week, and there are over 28 different west end shows involved in the event. Along with the opportunity for children to watch a show, they can also participate in additional activities with the cast after the show! Special workshops will be organised in which the children can learn dance routines and songs, as well as getting a sneak peek backstage to see how the magic happens! Tickets are available via the website www.kidsweek.co.uk.

This is just one of the days out on offer at the moment; something to keep yourself and the family occupied this summer. And remember, a train won’t take a wrong turn and then refuse to ask for directions, it will take you exactly where you want to go, and aim to keep you and your family happy for the entire journey.

Those seeking a bit of British culture on their family day out should get tickets to board the one day only Steam Train Trip from London Marylebone station on August 1st. This magnificently restored steam train will stop at Beaconsfield as part of the 80th Anniversary celebrations for the Bekonscot Model Village, before heading to Stratford upon Avon for the afternoon. Finally you will head back to Marylebone in the evening completing your circuit. But your ticket before they are all sold out by visiting: http://steamtrain.chilternrailways.co.uk.
