David Hughes has joined Total Accident Management in the newly formed role of Operations Director.
Hughes joins Total from Threadneedle Investments where he has spent the past six years as Head of Retail Operations.
Before that he worked for Zurich Financial Services, Credit Suisse and Allied Dunbar Insurance, performing a broad range of operational leadership and change management roles, all strongly customer service centric.
Commenting on his appointment David said: “I am delighted to be joining the leadership team of a dynamic young company and believe I can bring a new approach to providing customer care within the fleet, insurance and contract hire sectors,” explained Hughes.
Hughes will report to Penny Stoolman, MD of Total. Penny said: “Our business has more than doubled in growth in each of the last two years and David brings with him a fresh approach to operations in the automotive and accident management sectors.”
“Our aim is to provide the ultimate customer service experience for companies and their drivers,” she added.
Currently Total Accident Management provides a wide range of fault and non fault services to over 200,000 drivers.
